To strengthen the research and cooperation in the field of promoting children and adolescents’ health, build interdisciplinary platforms, and jointly promote the high-quality development of children and adolescents’ health, JZMU held “2025 International Conference on Health Promotion of Children and Adolescents from April 25th to 28th
This conference was hosted by Jinzhou Medical University and co-organized by the “Comprehensive Prevention and Treatment of Obesity and Related Chronic Diseases throughout the Whole Life Cycle” Discipline Innovation and Talent Introduction Base for Higher Education Institutions (“111” Plan) together with the “China School Health” Magazine; JZMU Collaborative Innovation Center for Children and Adolescents’ Health Promotion and School of Public Health of JZMU mainly undertook the organization of the conference. Professor Wen Deliang, Director of the JZMU Collaborative Innovation Center for Children and Adolescents’ Health Promotion, served as the President of the conference. The conference revolved around the theme of “Multi-disease co-management, Prevention-Treatment Integration, and Digital Empowerment”, setting up theme forums, feature forums, and youth forums. Nearly 40 experts, scholars, and young elites from both domestic and foreign focused on childhood obesity, myopia, abnormal spinal curvature, dental caries, and mental health to share the latest research results, conduct academic exchanges and promote the high-quality development of children and adolescents’ health.
The conference has effectively promoted interdisciplinary integration and innovation as well as the application and development of cutting-edge technologies, which is of great significance for promoting the development of children and adolescents’ health. Since 2022, JZMU has continuously built the academic highland, innovation center, and high-level research and development base in the field of children and adolescents’ health, providing new ideas and cases for promoting the healthy growth of children and adolescents in China, bringing new directions and inspirations for clinical treatment and public health prevention and control practices, and working together with academia and industry to create a better future for children and adolescents’ health for continuously strengthening the construction of Healthy China.
