On September 10th, the opening ceremony of the Jinzhou division of the third “Governor’s Cup” Youth Campus Football Championship in Liaoning Province was held at JZMU. The competition was hosted by the Education Department of Liaoning Province, co-organized by Kalmei Sports, and organized by JZMU. Vice-president Wen Youfeng attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Ma Zhuang, Dean of the School of Sports and Exercise Rehabilitation, presided over the opening ceremony.
The Youth Campus Football Championship held in our province aims to comprehensively promote the popularization of youth football in the province, improve the overall level of youth football in the province, build sunshine campus sports activities, and provide a platform for young friends to experience the charm of football and unleash their youthful passion. There are a total of 32 representative teams from 23 undergraduate universities and 9 vocational colleges from Jinzhou, Shenyang, Huludao, Dandong, Dalian, Liaoyang, Fuxin, Panjin, Yingkou and other places in this competition area. The competition will last for 15 days, and athletes will run hard on the green field, fight bravely, demonstrate their competitive level, moral style, and individual charm.
In his speech, Wen Youfeng first expressed gratitude on behalf of JZMU to the leaders of the Provincial Department of Education, and welcomed all the leaders, guests, athletes, referees, and coaches attending the opening ceremony.
He expressed the hope that all participating athletes would carry forward the Olympic spirit, seize competitive opportunities, exchange skills, understand the meaning of perseverance, transform their enthusiasm for the competition into a driving force for progress, strive bravely, and showcase their level, skill, and style.
