On October 11th, Jinzhou Medical University launched the opening ceremony of the teaching-ability training cource for 2025 new teacher to promote their comprehensive improvement of the teaching ability. Vice President Wen Youfeng attended the ceremony and delivered a speech, with relevant training instructors and all newly recruited teachers in attendance. The ceremony was presided over by Liu Hengyu, Director of the Teacher Teaching Development Center.
At the ceremony, Vice President Wen Youfeng welcomed the newly hired teachers on behalf of JZMU and in the subsequent training session, Professor Jiang Enkui, Professor Zhu Xiaomei, and Professor Zhang Hailong conducted specialized training for all newly hired teachers.
The training course of teaching-ability for newly hired teachers is an important measure for university to continuously strengthen the cultivation for the young teachers. The training content consists of general education training and specialized training, with a total of 92 hours, covering various topics such as educational theory, internationalization of education, digital teaching ability, curriculum ideology and politics, and basic teaching skills. The training helps new teachers better understand the professional norms of teaching, fully improve their ability to teach, which lays a solid fundation for their future teaching career.
