JZMU Held “2025 Immunosenescence and Anti-tumor Immunity Symposium”

From October 31st to November 2nd, the “2025 Immunosenescence and Anti-tumor Immunity Symposium”, co-organized by the JZMU Institute of Life Sciences, the JZMU Collaborative Innovation Center for Prevention and Treatment of Aging Related Diseases, and the Liaoning Provincial Engineering Laboratory of Tumor Immunology and Molecular Diagnosis and Treatment Technology, was held in Jinzhou Medical University.

The symposium aimed to promote new progress in the research of immunity and aging through high-level academic exchanges by focusing on basic research and transformation research, exchanging and discussing from aspects such as immune aging and reconstruction, tumor metastasis intervention and immunotherapy, and prevention and treatment of metabolic related diseases.

 

 

 

 

Besides President Qu Wei and Vice President Jiang Huamao, the symposium invited Professor Wu Yuzhang, an academician of the CAE Member, and Professor Lv Liwei, executive director of the Chinese Society of Immunology, and other well-known experts and scholars to attend. Jiang Huamao presided over the symposium.

After the opening ceremony, 17 experts and scholars from universities and research institutes such as the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Military Medical University, the University of Hong Kong, Peking University, Zhejiang University, Sun Yat sen University, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University conducted a two-day academic exchange and discussion on the theme of the symposium.

This symposium targeted the forefront of academia and the development of the healthcare industry. The attending experts and scholars elaborated and interacted with each other to exchange their academic views, research results, and insights, gathering wisdom and strength for jointly promoting immunosenescence and advancing the development of anti-tumor immunity. Jinzhou Medical University will continue to strengthen the construction of the Collaborative Innovation Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Aging Related Diseases, promote the clinical translation and scientific research innovation of cutting-edge technologies in tumor immunology, enhance interdisciplinary collaborative development and cross-border integration, and create an academic highland, innovation center, and high-level research and development base in the fields of immune aging and anti-tumor immunology, contributing to new breakthroughs in the prevention and treatment of aging related diseases and anti-tumor immunology.
