From November 5th to 8th, the national finals of the first DeepSeek Big Model and Industrial AI Application Development Competition of the 2025 the Belt and Road and BRICS Development and Technological Innovation Skills Competition were held in Kaifeng University in He'nan Province. Shi Xintong, the student from the School of Intelligent Medicine at JZMU, won the national first prize (undergraduate group), and the School of Intelligent Medicine was awarded the “Best Organization Award”. This competition is an important event to promote the “The Belt and Road” initiative and the cooperation and exchange of skills among BRICS countries and it focus on the comprehensive ability of participants in AI big model technology understanding, industry application innovation and practice implementation.

On November 13th, the Big Data Application Development Competition of 2025 RAICOM Robot Developer Competition (RAICOM) National Finals was held in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province. Ding Kexin, the student from the School of Intelligent Medicine at JZMU, won the national first prize (undergraduate group) and individual bronze award. This competition, hosted by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, aims to enhance the innovation and entrepreneurship abilities of university students and to cultivate and select outstanding talents for the high-quality development of China’s robotics technology and industry. The big data application development competition focuses on the comprehensive abilities of participants in data mining, algorithm modeling, data analysis visualization, and solving practical industry problems.
Under the guidance of Professor Hu Shuyu and other teachers from the School of Intelligent Medicine, the two students systematically mastered the core knowledge and problem-solving methods of artificial intelligence and big data technology. In the competition, they calmly dealt with data analysis and mining related questions, accurately completed the complete process from data processing to model construction, demonstrated solid professional foundation and excellent problem-solving ability, and received unanimous recognition from the judges. The school has provided high-level academic guidance and support throughout the entire process, from topic proposal, technical roadmap to defense skills. The achievement of multiple outstanding results is a reflection of the school’s emphasis on “medical engineering integration” and strengthening the cultivation of students’ innovative practical abilities more than the result of the joint efforts of all teachers and students in the School of Intelligent Medicine.
