From January 26 to February 3, Vice President Wen Youfeng led a teamof officials from the Academic Affairs Office, the First Clinical MedicalSchool, the Third Clinical MedicalSchool, the School of Stomatology, and the School of Sports and Rehabilitation Medicine, along with teaching supervision experts, to visit the university’s clinical teaching bases in Shenyang, Anshan, and other cities. The team conducted internship teaching inspections and extended greetings to supervising teachers and intern students.
Vice President Wen Youfeng and his delegation visitedanumberofhospitals,includingChaoyang Second Hospital, Chaoyang Central Hospital, Liaoyou Gem Flower Hospital, Panjin Central Hospital, Fuxin Central Hospital, Huludao Central Hospital, Yingkou Central Hospital, Anshan Central Hospital, Dandong Central Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of our university, the Third Affiliated Hospital of our university, the General Hospital of the Northern Theater Command of the People's Liberation Army, and Liaoning Provincial People's Hospital. They held symposia with the leadership of each hospitalto discussthe internship status of the university’s students.
This inspection focused on two major tasks: enhancing teaching management standards and improving internship quality. Through on-site reviewsof teaching documents and records, observation of teaching ward rounds and case discussions, and discussions with supervising teachers and intern students, the team gained a comprehensive understanding ofhowinternship teaching management systemswerebeingimplementedandofthe living and learning conditions of intern students at each base. During the visits,theteamalsoconductedrandom practical skill assessmentsfor intern students, including aseptic technique and basic surgical skills.
