On March 13, JZMUheld the 2026 Undergraduate Education and Teaching Work Conference in the Academic Lecture Hall of the library. Vice President Wen Youfeng attended the meeting. Heads of relevant university departments, teaching units, programs, and teaching and research offices, along with teaching administration officials, participated in the main venue, while relevant officials and heads from the university’s clinical teaching bases attended the online session via sub-venues. The conference was chaired by Guo Xiliang, Director of the Academic Affairs Office.
In his speech, Vice President Wen Youfeng comprehensively reviewed the undergraduate education and teaching work of 2025. He noted that in 2025,JZMUsolidly advanced the rectification of the undergraduate teaching review and evaluation, made steady progress in program development, achieved progress in course and textbook construction, continuously strengthened practical teaching, enhanced faculty capabilities, improved the teaching quality monitoring system, standardized teaching management, and strengthened the educational capacity of international and continuing education, resulting in sustained improvement in talent cultivation quality.
Wen objectively analyzed the shortcomings in program development, talent cultivation quality, teaching management and implementation of quality standards, and faculty teaching concepts and abilities. In accordance with the spirit of the National Education Work Conference and the latest deployment requirements of the Ministry of Education regarding undergraduate education and teaching in higher education institutions, he made work arrangements and set forth requirements for comprehensively carrying out the education and teaching work in the new semester.
