On June 25th, the 2026 Graduation Ceremony and Degree Awarding Ceremony of JZMU was held at Beichen Square. President Qu Wei, Chairman of the University’s Degree Evaluation Committee, together with university leaders, members of the Degree Evaluation Committee, members of the leadership teams of schools, heads of relevant departments, representatives of teachers and students, and all 2026 Class graduates attended the ceremony. Warwick Pitts, President of Waikato Institute of Technology in New Zealand, a partner institution in our university’s Sino-foreign cooperative education program, was invited to attend the graduation ceremonyas well. The graduation ceremony was presided over by Vice-PresidentWen Youfeng, Vice Chairman of the University’s Degree Evaluation Committee.
Before the ceremony, the graduation-themed short film Starting from Songpo Road, meticulously produced by Student Affairs Office, presented a panoramic record of the enriching and unforgettable campus days of the 2026 Class graduates. Amid the national anthem, the 2026 Graduation Ceremony and Degree Awarding Ceremony of Jinzhou Medical University officially began.
University leaders presented graduation certificates to graduate representatives. You Qiyuan, an undergraduate graduate representative from School of Public Health, Hu Yinan, a graduate student representative from the First Clinical Medical School, and Ou Yiyan, an international student graduate representative from the International Education School, took the stage together to affectionately share their stories of growth and journeys of pursuing dreams at JZMU. Through poetry recitation, they looked back on their days of study, recounting their growth in classroom learning, scientific research exploration, social practice, and campus life.
After the graduation ceremony, President Qu Wei turned the tassels for the 2026 Class graduate representatives and awarded them their degrees.
